At CLB Cards all of our designs are created using the best materials available. Almost all of our figures are interchangeable - cards can be made into frames, bookmarks or magnets. Ideas can be emailed to us using the Contact Us link above. We will be refreshing our selection on a regular basis so please, come back often.
As you browse, we hope you enjoy the selection of smiles and happy faces that are hand-drawn and watercolored before being layered on the finest quality cardstock and patterned paper we can find. Please be patient - it may take a minute for some computers to load.
About the Artists
There is a term used in watercolor painting called “happy accidents” that describes the unplanned and unforeseen movement paint sometimes takes on wet paper. The beginning and evolution of CLB Cards has been rather like that - one big happy accident - in a divine sort of way. Following a watercolor class, we began creating these happy little characters and painting them on watercolor paper. The characters have evolved and changed in appearance through the years - as do each of us. The cards also changed as we have fallen in love with the different arrays of paper available and have had more fun with the backgrounds.
Each card is still put together by hand and is, thereby, a little imperfect – again like each of us. We hope you enjoy browsing the site.
